MEET THE TEAM

The work of Leaves of Hope depends entirely on the efforts of a dedicated team of volunteers in Cardiff and West Sussex.
Our trustees are:

Chair

Director

Secretary Treasurer IT Manager

Margaret Bamford

Val Cousins

Ann Lock

Richard Hanscombe

Ivor Cox

In Belarus we employ some equally dedicated staff who work tirelessly on our behalf.
Luda Tagay and Valentina Shakhlai are our
co-ordinating Managers in Belarus. Luda works primarily with the convoys and refurbishment programmes, and Valentina with the Fostering and Prevention projects. They are both fluent English speakers and accredited translators. Our work has
been built on their wise counsel and attention to high standards and ethical practice.

Irina Logvin and Elena Boika have been our Prevention Project workers for 2 years. Irina has a degree in engineering and is a qualified psychologist; Elena is a qualified social pedagogue. Both have lots of experience of working with families and disability.

Elena Titova heads up for our partner NGO – the Belarusian Association for Handicapped Children – and is responsible for the day to day management of our workers.
